“I’m definitely someone who wears my emotions on my sleeve. A lot of people have learned that the hard way,” the University of Iowa sophomore said with a blend of humor and bravado. From a young age, she always brought the fire. She has an intense desire to be constantly surrounded by the game. She possesses a deep love for basketball. That little story, in a nutshell, offers a window into what makes Caitlin Clark tick and why she has become one of the most dynamic basketball players today … at any level. She doesn’t recall what they were arguing about - probably video games or basement basketball - but she’ll never forget the doled-out consequence when her parents got home from work.

When she was in sixth or seventh grade, Caitlin Clark remembers coming home from school one afternoon and getting into a spat with her two brothers. Watch Video: How Iowa sophomore Caitlin Clark handles pressure of national stardom
